The mistreatment of the Japanese Spitz dog Little White has brought the long-neglected issue of animal protection in Hong Kong into the public eye. Through researching this topic and interviewing relevant people, we have learnt to reflect and cherish life more.
Artist’s Statement
Through taking part in this competition, we have deepened our knowledge about the lack of laws and policies on the protection of animals in Hong Kong, and gained greater understanding and perception about life. I hope the laws and policies on animal protection in Hong Kong will become more comprehensive in future!
