The 27th ifva Awards is Calling for Entry Now!
Application and Submission Deadline:
11th October 2021 (Monday) 6:00pm (Hong Kong Time)
Open, Youth, Animation, Asian New Force Category
- Entries must be produced on or after 1 October 2020. Works that have been updated after the said date are also eligible.
- The maximum running time of Entries (except those of Media Art Category) is 30 minutes (including end credits).
Media Art Category
- Entry must be a Completed Work.
- Media Art works can be in all forms and formats. Digital art, interactive media, computer game, sound art, kinetic art, Virtual Reality (VR) and any other time-based installation are all welcome.
- Entries must be produced on or after 1 October 2019. Works that have been updated after the said date are also eligible.

As a platform and an incubator for film and visual media, ifva hopes to see more creative power from Hong Kong and Asia. Academic staff, festival promoters, curators, industry stakeholders and all general member of public are invited to recommend short films, animations and media art works to us. The 27th ifva Awards will call for entry from July. Click here to nominate works to join the Awards!
Upon receipt of nominations, ifva will contact eligible nominees who shall formally complete the application procedure and submit their works before the submission deadline (11 Oct 2021, 6pm (Hong Kong Time)), provided that the works are eligible to enter the Awards.

Remarks:
- Apple Macbook Pro 16 inch model or equivalent with listed price HK$21,999.
- Cash prize of Animation and Media Art Category are sponsored by the Pure Art Foundation.
- In the event of more than one entries receiving an award, the Organiser reserves the right to redistribute the cash prizes according to the original ratio among specific awards assigned to the category. Each award must not exceed its ceiling amount. Whom to be awarded with the prize will be decided by the jury panel.
- The Jury Panel reserves the right to withhold an award if they find none of the Entry merits a particular award and prize.
