A homicide detective arrives at a crime scene to investigate the suspicious death of a man who reportedly committed suicide with a gun in his apartment. In order to uncover the truth behind what initially appears to be a straightforward suicide case, he begins to meticulously examine the eerie building and the crime scene. As the detective explores the space, the grim atmosphere of the building further deepens the mystery surrounding the case. Continuing his investigation, he eventually uncovers the deceased man's hidden diary. Upon reaching the very last page, he uncovers the terrifying secret behind the death and identifies the real perpetrator of this staged suicide. The detective immediately begins documenting this shocking truth, which completely alters the course of the investigation, on his voice recorder. However, at that critical moment while describing the suspect on the recording, he fails to notice the danger approaching quietly from behind and is shot in the back with a gun.
