Neon

Pan Sz-yu (Taiwan)

Col / 6' 07"/ No dialogue and subtitles

Neon is a colorless, tasteless and odorless gas, but when injected into glass tubes and connected to an electric current, it lights up into a reddish-orange neon light. When it was first discovered, scientists found the gas novel and dazzling, so they named it “neon”, which means “new”. We use neon as a concept to convey romantic love.
