Kua Kua

Yim Lok-yiu

Col / 1' 00"/ In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles

The story is about my poor term marks at school.
First is my Chinese. My comprehension skills are poor. Fortunately, I barely pass.
Then is English, I perform the best in this subject.
Then is Maths...ugh...I am not good at Maths at all.
Last but not least, Science. I don’t know how to spell the keywords!
To sum up, my results are just a little bit better than the poor ones.

Artist’s Statement

I choose this topic because of my poor results. My English result is good but my Chinese, Math and Science are poor. I even failed the Science tests. I never think that I am a talented student who is good at studying. Indeed, my results at school are just fair.

I hope this video can bring out a message that results are not the most important thing in our life. We should enjoy every fun moment in our daily lives and we should laugh more often, that’s why the title of the video is Kua Kua (Haha).
