Ip Yuk-yiu, the host of the discussion, started the session with a special rule. Each artist had to select one of the featured artworks for their personal comments and critics.

“Visceral Cinema: VR and Physical Interaction” Workshop
21 to 22 March 2015 | McAulay Studio, Hong Kong Arts Centre
Instructor: Ip Yuk-yiu

The two-day workshop focused on the use of VR system and physical interaction in future cinema, video game and virtual world production.

Ip Yuk-yiu introduced Unity, a freeware for creating 2D/3D games and interactive experiences.

One of the participants was exploring the virtual reality game with Oculus Rift and headphone.

With Leapmotion controller, a sensor following movements of fingers, the player had to make physical response to the game.

The player could also respond on the keyboard.

Ip Yuk-yiu, the instructor of the workshop took picture with the participants at the end of the workshop
