Artist’s Statement

Inspired by Franz Kafka, my film uses a surrealistic setting to provoke different interpretations of the narrative, in hope that the ambiguity would allow connections between disparate elements that could lead to a layering of meanings. The idea, then, is to reflect upon our relationship with ourselves and the world we live in, almost like a sense of remembrance.
