Artist's Statement

Recently, when we talk about Hong Kong traditional culture and stuffs, we tend to use terms like “heart-warming feeling” or “collective memory”. Sometimes the nostalgic feeling is so exaggerated that it becomes cliché. This documentary brings the audience to the old dim-sum restaurant as close as possible, and focuses on the lives in this old-fashioned restaurant in a simple manner.
