Artist's Statement
I miss my granny, particularly the way she would always talk about her favorite Taiwanese opera songs and how she waited by the television for a chance to hear her favorite singer. She would always sing along with these unfamiliar songs, which I disliked and found strange. However, when I have grown up, these became my favorite songs. So I decided to make a film inspired by my granny.
