Wearing a surgical mask, what were you doing in March 2003, ten years ago? Wearing the mask again, we step into the space of memory, with keywords floating around, and ponder.
Artist's Statement
Search engines are becoming the extension of our memory. Would the action of typing the word “SARS”, the keyword, becomes the most remembered sign? Ten years after the SARS tragedy, this installation allows all the “SARS keywords” that audience has in mind to blink in space. It investigates the structure of memory, and also the possibility of using installation, an art form, as a space of reflection.
