Artist’s Statement

Subway Commute is my second film, which is related to my first film Wander in the Dark. This two share the topic of the relationship between individual and the city. The idea of this film came from my experience of taking subway. The carriage looked like the illusion of each other. It seemed like each carriage was a universe with different timing, and these parallel Universes formed a bigger picture of our life.
