Artist’s Statement

That year when I returned to Hong Kong from abroad, I thought of how people seem to be always wanting to leave their homelands without exactly knowing where they belong. Piled Cloud is inspired by my feelings when I am in Hong Kong. It is like many light objects piling up together. They are very light; it is unknown where the weight has gone. Even the battering rain is light.
