It was late at night, she crossed the streets of Central and Sheung Wan with a bucket of clothes and arrived at a 24-hour laundromat. She dumped the clothes on the ground clumsily, while a man keeping replying messages on his phone came to the laundromat. In this suppressing city, they were busy working on their own, but a coincidence encounter let them get salvation from each other. Yet, they’ve never imagined that the night was endlessly long.
We all live in lies we choose to believe. We are assimilated by a formulated society, consider abnormality as normality, legitimate illegitimacy and indulge in delusional love. We do not want to face the truth. While we are overwhelmed by this contradictory loneliness, in fact, we all know where the root of it is.
