Artist’s Statement

Since entering the digital era, technology continues to define our existence. Under such Zeitgeist, I interrogate the nature of humanity, realising how we are still ephemeral. Despite the technology built, we will still eventually die. Eventually, Obsolete surrounds an outdated CRT monitor manufactured in 2000. The monitor was dissected, with its components juxtaposed with the corresponding parts of the human body, creating a body of work that stands as hybrids between humanity and technology.
