The Remains is a stream of consciousness progression of the hallucinatory experience of an old man in his late 70s living in an isolated river bank.
Artist’s Statement
I developed my early consciousness gazing at the flow of Marsyangdi River. The living and the non- living things that were flowing towards eternity stimulated my imagination. The rivers flow, like the arrow of time, made me more inquisitive about our lives and destination. This became the main essence of my cinema progression. Thus, I have attempted to make a pure cinema, rather than dramatic, presented by a stream of consciousness.
