This film depicts a young homosexual who fights for his rights and that of people around him, but the barrier between himself and his father and the lack of progress in society put him in a state of confusion and self-reflection.
Artist’s Statement
The lawsuits seeking equal rights for sexual minorities and the rewriting of constitutions in various countries in recognition of gay marriage caused us to reflect on the progress in Hong Kong society with regards to gender issues. In real life, how do young gays lead their lives? An interview with Adam Wan inspired this short animation work.
