Before Dying revolves around those who are hospitalised and bedridden. At his last gasp, the protagonist witnesses the experiences of other inmates and forsees the end of life.
Artist's Statement
Death lingers in all of us; I once had a close encounter with it. I was diagnosed with cancer a decade ago, and I’ve been dealing with patients for years. All these prompt me to realise that there exists another world - the world after death.
Such realisation actually brings more vitality to my life, but it is hard to describe with words. This mystery, I believe, can be experienced more easily with images.
