Artist's Statement

In June 2014, we prepared and documented this installation. The concept was letting visitors to experience an immersive environment of large amount of feeds on social network platforms in real-time. The emphasis is on the speed of news feeds’ data flow in this digital dominated era.

In September 2014, the Umbrella Movement broke out in Hong Kong. As Hong Kong citizens, we think we have the responsibility to focus our work on it, so we started collecting feeds and information from the beginning of this movement. At the time this statement is written, the Umbrella Movement is still going on, and so is this work.
