d' AR uck is a location-based augmented reality art project. With the d' AR uck mobile app, people can have fun to see a group of giant virtual bath time ducks floating on the harbour.
Artist's Statement
Inspired by Florentijn Hofman's Rubber Duck Project: If one giant rubber duck floating on the harbour could once gather people and spread joy around the city, how about a group of them swimming around all the time? Can digital media transcend and sustain that joy? Why not give it a try? Let’s start from the city where I was born, grew up and live - Hong Kong.
