Artist's Statement
Being diagnosed with severe hearing loss in my childhood, I gradually became aware of the differences between me and my peers. While most people take every day sounds like birds chirping or music for granted, those with hearing impairments may never have the chance to experience these sounds in the
same way. This disconnection can affect their sense of belonging in the world. Recognising this disparity, my aspiration is to convey the auditory essence of my daily life through my films.

Juror's Comment
In this dialogue-driven film, the abstract moving images create an interesting juxtaposition against the sound. It clearly shows the director's inventiveness and sense of movement. But the whole film feels like an exercise and it left me yearning for more. (Yu Ka Ho)
