The billboards in the bustling city sell various exciting lifestyles, but Chi Keung is trapped in a dull and unhappy life. When he loses his passion, he meets Ka Yan a fellow traveller, and a brief spark teaches them both how to face a spiritual crisis.
Artist's Statement
Inspired by a body check session. I had been having chest pain for some time, but the report said everything was normal. I thought, how could that even be possible? In this ever-changing city, it is not normal to be normal. Billboards could never promote the value of ordinary everyday life, but might bring peace to you. Wish all people in this city could take a deep breath, as it says, we are lonely together.
Juror's Comment
The technical execution of the storytelling is mature and accurate. Episode-like fragments seem ordinary but effectively projects the character' uncomfortable, resentful, and uncertain state of mind. The actors' performances are natural and lines are well-written. (Jacqueline Liu)
