I wanted to describe a complicated reality, both personally and politically, through Nur's story. Jerusalem, as a city of contrasts, is a kind of microcosm of the world. A seemingly impossible combination of religion, political forces, and history that make us afraid of breaking down the physical walls and tensions, not only between people, but within ourselves. Through Nur's story, we witness our world.
