Filmorphosis: Wong Fei-pang’s Creative Perseverance

Ten Years - Season of the End

Wong Fei-pang
Hong Kong / DCP / In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles

Taxidermy, which was lost in the midst of the vast developing world, raised from the ashes like a phoenix. The future is just another season for the imminent doomsday. There is no more room for our city to norrish, construction replaces memory, development deprives history, diversity simply doesn’t exist anymore. Inevitably, we could only preserve our existence through taxidermy. Two young adults interested in the dissipating taxidermy, growing closer day by day through their work, building memories of their own, however, they could not separate their work with their relationship.
