Artists’ Statement

Kin’s Hair is a comedic animation that encapsulates the history of Hong Kong. We hope that this work can serve to recall the collective memories of Hong Kong people and allow them to experience again various episodes in the city since the Handover. Hopefully, Kin’s story can encourage Hong Kongers to treasure what they have rather than mourn their loss after the fact.
