Heartwarming short films under the starry sky on one of the steepest streets of Hong Kong. The March screening of People’s Cinema – Open-air Screening of Jockey Club ifva Everywhere will be showing three short films close to the everyday lives of Hong Kong people: The Secret Taste (2012/ Col / 12' 32" / In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles) by Adam Wong, Merry X’mas (2007 / Col / 24’00” / In Cantonese with Chinese and English subtitles) by Jevons Au and Homecoming (2009/ Col / 2935/ In Cantonese, Tagalog and English with Chinese and English subtitles) by Zune Kwok.

Free Admission. You are welcome to bring your own cushions.

Exchanging gift is a small issue; however, the poor little girl has to work hard to prepare for that. Eventually she decides to collect recycling papers in the street. It is sad and heartbreaking. There is neither stunning scene nor sensational plot. The rights and wrongs, warm and cold of the world are narrated simply from the little girl’s point of view.
