Superego dominates the play in our lives according to the film.

Table-Obscura.II : Intimacy / LEE Wing-shan

Dining table is a dramatic theatre which involves both public and private space. This work transforms a dining table into a camera obscura. By making use of the principal of optical imaging , the space under the table can be revealed on the table on a glass dish. This process makes the hidden and private object revealed on a public area. The brightness of the image depends on the distance between the gazing position of the participants and the table. A pre-recorded intimate conversation of a couple is adopted into this installation. Those conversations are presented in programme-based approach in order to show the playful episode of dialogic narrative. This approach requires two persons to participate in this installation, so that the notions of the piece can be exhibited completely. The participants can experience the ambiguous relations of peeping and being peeped, of the real and the virtual, and also the dialogic narrative in this installation.

Old substance is emotional and poetic while new one is attractive and exciting.
