In the last 18 years, ifva has ceaselessly extended its artistic footprint and showcased various media creations. This year we will embrace the experimental spirit and take audiences along a dazzling visual journey. Come and enjoy the full-slate of programmes we have prepared for you at the 18th ifva Festival!

We are now soliciting photos about Wan Chai scenery, people and everyday life under the theme of “Wan Chai Today”. Selected works will be combined into a short film for screening at the end of February, 2013.

Online submission deadline: 14/2/2013 (Thur) 5pm

Wan Chai Imagery is co-organized by the Cultural and Leisure Services Committee of Wan Chai District Council and the Hong Kong Arts Centre. The aim of the program is to teach filmmaking technique to local and ethnic minority young people and allow them to explore various stories both new and old in Wan Chai, and finally use their cameras to express these stories.
