ifva has always been an incubator of young creative minds to further develop their talents. Right after the results of the 16th ifva are announced in the evening of 19 March, two programmes featuring this year’s award-winning works will get ready to offer an incredible opportunity to witness and experience the creativity and dynamics of our new generation. Highly regarded by the veteran filmmakers and artists from our jury panels, these works promise to be the festival’s highlight not to be missed!

This year’s awarded animations are of a high standard and show a wide array of technical styles and interests. In the highly competitive Asian New Force, short films and videos from Asian regions enter the final tens with great panache, including first-time finalists from Georgia and Mongolia. The winning works make up a great audio-visual feast ready to serve.
