Veteran independent animator LO Che-ying, sitting on our Animation Category jury panel almost every year, cherrypicked dozens of exemplary ifva works since 1996 to feature in two associate programmes of this year’s Hong Kong International Film Festival. A star-studded line-up to be proud of!

The charm of “moving” is what appeals to fans of animation since the revolution of the genre in the old times. In the selected ifva animation works here, our artists explored different ways to exhibit the charm of “moving”; from hand-drawn to computer generated graphics, in combination with wild thoughts and ideas, these works offer a dazzling 60 minutes of spectacular movements.
